Undergraduate Program

The mission of the undergraduate program is to provide students with a didactic program that covers the breadth of knowledge in nutrition from molecules to organisms to populations, provides opportunities for research, and offers practical experiences and training.

Goals include

  1. The dietetic programs at The Pennsylvania State University will prepare graduates to be competent entry-level dietitians.
  2. Through encouragement, motivation, and support program faculty and staff will increase the number of students who complete their dietetics program of study.
  3. The program will prepare graduates with life-long learning skills who are prepared to advance in their field.
