Faculty in the Department of Nutritional Sciences have a long and distinguished history at Penn State. They are multi-disciplinary, coming from a broad range of backgrounds such as nutrition, dietetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, physiology, psychology, immunology, behavioral genetics, endocrinology, epidemiology, health promotion, health education, medicine, neuroscience, pharmacology. The faculty c an help students develop knowledge and skills either for practical applications or as a base for graduate study.
