A kit addressing a very timely and important topic — childhood obesity — is available from The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), Division of Food and Nutrition. The kit, entitled Childhood Overweight and Obesity: Parents Can Make a Difference, was developed by Project PA, and consists of a VHS tape, a DVD video, and print materials

Copies of this kit have been distributed to Pennsylvania superintendents, business managers, school board presidents, school foodservice directors, PTA presidents and Cooperative Extension educators.
